KOMIKON 2013 tomorrow!
This is a late post, because just this morning I was worrying that the printing would be off (spreads- a rant for another time), something or other would get botched, etc. etc.
But anyway- tomorrow I will be at F12 in the Indie section at Komikon 2013!
Letter size prints will be P50 (about USD 1.15) and a 22-page B/W comic for P100 (USD 2.29) I will be manning the booth myself, so stop by if you have the time!

What's up Doc- what're you watching this season?

I admit I nearly spat out what I was drinking when I saw this. To quote Teehee on RandomCuriosity;
it was like, SENPAI, SENPAI!! MATTERUYO!!!!
I watch animu while I work! Sometimes having a talky BGM is good. Aside from Shingeki no Kyojin, I follow a few others this season:
Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge - I'll be blunt. This series is WEIRD. It involves curses, murder tools, hairdressing and a fetish for giving people injections... not in that order, but you get the idea. It's weird. However it is refreshingly- itself. The two main characters actually feel legit, none of this tsundere 'but I don't really like you, baka!' nonsense.
Ha
There and back again
For those who 'got' that quote- congrats. Personally I'm really happy they made the movie, but I'm not quite sure how they're going to stretch things over 3 films.
That aside...
I left my old job. I have mixed feelings about it- it made me happy to see how our work turned out on TV, I liked the rest of our little team and the money wasn't bad- but at the same time, I couldn't handle the schedule; things happened that made me realize that I needed to pay more attention to other aspects of my life.
It takes some courage to quit- I didn't exactly want to stew at home unemployed. However my cousin helped me find somewhere else where the schedu

I am employed-yes! I have joined zee great rat race, and I got rather lucky because it's in my field, kind of. I color storyboards and occasionally do some character/concept design for PREVISMNL- http://www.facebook.com/Prevismnl/
My boss is a nice person (are you reading this, Jill? hii, I'm percolating ideas while I type) and quite fair about work; but it is unavoidable that with more responsibilities, I have less time for personal things now. Whatever free time I have is mostly spent resting (sleep is zee majiks!), with the family, or with friends to remind them I'm still alive; y'know, real life things.
So to sum it all up- online, I've
